These are three developed versions of my original sketches. Again, red is the only colour used due it's connotations of danger and violence - which are often associated with the metal genre.

The first logo's overlapping letters represent the Complex theme but are a little difficult to read. 

For the second logo and third logos I decided to use less red than in my original sketch so that the the colour would pop a little more.

This is the basic colour palette that I shall be using when creating my products.

I chose reds and yellows because of their connotations of danger and violence, something which is heavily associated with this genre of music. 

The background for most of these products will be heavily black or red, so to make text stand out I will use white and yellow as they are lighter colours.

LO2: Audience Profile

James is and 19 year old from Doncaster who is obsessed with Djent, as well as other forms of Metal music. His favourite band is Periphery - a progressive metal/ djent band. James spends most of his weekends at local gigs or The Corporation in Sheffield (one of the biggest rock bars in the UK) and spends most of his Monday mornings hungover on his friend Tom's settee. The rest of his spare time is spent on prioritising the cinema and gym over his university deadlines. James tends to wear skating brands, such as Vans and Converse and has an obsessions with Snapback caps.
